Dale taught Erin how to read a level before she was tall enough to carry one. Erin later taught Dale to question every wall on a plan.
After earning her architecture degree and working in Portland, Erin came home to Bend in 2009. The studio began with a remodel, one borrowed trailer, and a shared belief: the person making the design decision should understand how it gets built.

Our six-person core crew includes two lead carpenters, three carpenters, and a project coordinator—backed by the same trusted excavation, concrete, mechanical, and finish trades we have worked with for years.
Four to six homes a year. Enough to stay sharp. Few enough to stay close.
